We haven't heard from Melissa Mayhue lately and I was so excited when I found the cover for her next Book.. Right there on her facebook page!! I have been missing Melissa so it's great to see what she is up to..

Hot Off the Press, Twitter Info on the Ghost

I was able to chat today along with several others (lisa was online too it was so crazy I didn't even realize it until half way through the twitter session) with The Ghost from Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling Series.. It was a very informative hour and fifteen minutes!! I was able to gather some information but many more questions popped up. I will say that my number one suspect has been eliminated.. The Ghost never said he wasn't my choice but there was one clue that eliminated him..

so here is what I learned..

  • I am male.  
  • I have no family.  
  • Vasic and Zaid have been thrown out as possible Ghost contenders
  • I led Judd to Alice for reasons of my own. I also understand loyalty and Judd has never betrayed me.
  • I trusted Judd because he had already proved himself a rebel. And because he was loyal to his family.  
  • Judd knows exactly who I am. His intelligence is part of why I work with him.   
  • My identity may or may not shock you. It depends on how you view me.
  • I do not have a tattoo.
  • I will never leave the PsyNet. Of course, it may not yet survive.
  • Yes, two characters in the series know my identity.
  • Are the two characters Judd and Hawke?  Yes.
  • I once considered using Sienna, but her ability is no longer part of my plan.  
  • The Ghost has a single loyalty for which there exist no boundaries or lines that he wont cross  
  • I have only a single loyalty. But I will not betray Judd and Xavier.
  • My loyalty is to a single individual.  
  • There is only one person who can stay my hand.
  • Theirs is the conscience. I am simply an instrument.
  • Yes, I am related to a character you have met, but the relationship is unknown by others.
  • Ghost has male relative but does not think of relative as family. Loyalty is to a woman.
  • I am not related to Lucas Hunter.
  • No, I am not related to Sienna.
  • I am not related to Zaid Adelaja.
  • No, I am not related to Sascha Duncan or Dev Santos.
  • No, I am not a member of the Lauren family.
  • I am not related to Hawke or the NightStar clan.
  • Is it pertinent who you're related to? Yes.  
  • Yes, my loyalty is to a woman, but you would not understand the depth of it or how it came into being. .
  • Hmmmm  A lover, a friend, a companion, they become weaknesses that can be used to break you.  
  • I am not good. I have no conscience. It was destroyed a long time ago.
  • My end goal will soon become blindingly clear. I do not discuss my plans ahead of time with anyone save perhaps Judd/Xavier Though even they do not know the extent of what I plan to do, though Judd may suspect.  
  • My conscience is gone. It can never grow back.
  • I have a location where I live. Home is not a concept I understand.  .
  • I was damaged long before the Net began to rot. .
  • Is there something that you actually can share about yourself or the upcoming events?  The upcoming events have not been set in stone. I am waiting.
  • The Council has already fallen. All that remains is to deliver the final deathblow.
  • I was broken as a child. I survived. I had to erase my conscience to do so.
  • I am one person.
  • I know of the duality in the Net. The impending civil war may be useful.
  • There are many of you who believe I must have some conscience. I do not.
  • would you consider an alliance with the changelings? They could bring in power.  I rule nothing out.
  • Is this woman who owns your loyalty still alive?  Yes.
  • Ghost, what do you do in your spare time? like an outlet you almost 'enjoy' if you could? I do what is necessary. I do not waste time.
  • re you ready to kill Ming yet or do you think it is too soon and will disrupt the net?  Ming is part of the disease. He'll die when it's time.
  • you say you were broken as a child.  Were you around other children as well during this time in your life?Yes and no.   
  • Did you know about the Lauren's plan to drop out of the net before or after? I suspected, but I did not know the extent of the plan till afterward. They are an intelligent family.
  • Did you meet this woman  when you were a child?  Yes.
  • Does Alice Eldrige play a huge part in this book? No.

Sorry if it is confusing or if I repeat facts I tried to take it directly from the twitter party and things were zooming by really fast. The good news is... Nalini Singh will have the entire conversation set up on blog..

 I have to know... who is gonna go back and try to figure this out? I am so tempted to drag out the highlighters . good thing I have them all on kindle, otherwise I might have to mark up my autographed books (yeah like that is gonna happen)

Hot Off the Press, News from the Twitter Party

I know you all have lives, didn't hear about it in time or were just off being lazy *grins* but Elisabeth Naughton and Joan Swan's twitter party was a blast!! It was insane and reminded me of some of the crazy posts we used to have on CF.. but once I got into it it was a lot of fun. 

For the most part I spent my time reading and checking things out.. What I learned...

  "Hold On To Me" (sequel to WAIT FOR ME) Cover will be revealed soon - Releasing Summer 2013 *I am so excited about Hold On To Me.. it will be the sequel to Elisabeth's outstanding contemporary story Wait for Me which you might have heard is one of my favorite books.

I know many of you Feehanistas out there already have this information BUT.. there might be a few who don't. So I am here to share it with you!!

Today on Facebook Christine Feehan shared the third cover for her Dark Trilogy (which is what I am calling it SHE may have a different name and I will change it once I hear it from her).. Because so much of both Bodice Rippers, Femme Fatales and Fantasy AND Tea and Book AND at least two other blogs that I am aware of began on Ms Feehan's website.. I feel the need to put her info front and center as often as possible..

5th Annual U.S. Military Spouse Contest

It turned out to be an incredibly rewarding experience. I had the privilege of meeting several incredible beautiful families over the past few years, and some have even become good friends.

It’s so easy to forget that there are real people who are deeply affected by the conflicts overseas. Hearing the personal stories of these families helped me remember that our troops are husbands, wives, mothers and fathers who are immensely loved and sorely missed.

This contest will run from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend but start sending those entries in now!

Who is eligible?Wives of any U.S. military service member may enter. Retired or active-duty.
